Hi guys I have been lacking power and then got the car over 3k revs and went to limp mode.

I read the fault codes and I get 16618 overboosting. I have read up on this and found possible causes to be:

1. Turbo vanes clogged
2. Faulty N75
3. Faulty MAP sensor
4. Turbo packed in

There may be more but do all these apply to an A4 B7 2.0tdi BLB engine. I have got 110k on clock.

Also when I hit the accelerator hard I get a chuk chuk or flutter type noise coming from towards the right side of engine - could this be Diverter valve or do we not have one on this car?

Also where is the turbo actuator so I can see if I can move it and if it does so freely? Can't find the N75 either on this car, on my mk4 golf it was at the back of the engine at the top and very easy to access.

Would EGR have anything to do with my flutter noise or fault code?

Any advice on this would be most appreciated.
