So I tried the Mr mussel trick but used proper stuff ment for it at work. It felt a bit better and chucked stuff out and doesn't seem to go in limp mode as often but still does. Will I be safe to remap? Should I try do the clean again? Or is it looking like I need a new turbo. Cheers guys!

Sometimes it take a few times , so repeat.

If no good take off turbo , strip and clean .

Mr Muscle is only a temporary solution, the best thing to do is to remove the turbo and clean it out. I certainly wouldn't remap a car that was going into limp mode. The car is going into limp mode because the ECU is unable to control the boost and usually the turbo overboosts.
Remapping a car with this problem will probably lead to a quick demise of the turbo.

Karl.

Can get a new one for 250 so I think I'd just buy a new One if it's that nakered. But I'm gonna try Mr muscle again because a few friends did it when it was overboosting and they have never had a problem since . It's a PD140 04 plate with 118k on clock
