Will these wheels fit the S3 (boring 17"s before you get too excited!)

Hi,
Anyone know if these will fit the S3?
Ive seen a decent deal on them for winter wheels....
They are genuine Audi 17"s with a 56 offset.
I was wondering if they would clear the calipers?

Honestly couldn't tell you, I have seen 17's on s3's before though, I'll check mine when I'm home and let you know how much clearance there is on an a3, might help a little bit

Just done some measuring....
There's about 2" clearance from calliper to the edge of the wheel, and an inch clearance from calliper to spokes, that's on a standard a3 setup, 2004 a3 tdi sport

They are for sale not far from me, might pop along and try to cobble a deal! They are for sale at around £400 with 4 almost new winter tyres....

Suppose that's not too bad a price, I paid £52 for my spare ones with bald tyres. They pop up on eBay quite often
