Hi Guys,

Very strange thing this evening. Just came back home and in the garage I gave a strong acceleration with the S-Tronic lever in N position. Well the engine did not go after 4000 rpm. I floored the accelerator and the engine stuck itself to 4000 rpm. No more.

I have the "oil change expired" message on the DIS (already booked the service next Monday)

Did you notice it??

Dunno... but this may be a 'safety' thing.
On launch control mine wouldn't rev past 4k before I took my foot off the brake.

I'm sure all audis have a rev limit when in neutral

Ok I will swap it for an R8 lol.

The new model please.

Joking aside...is it for avoid harming the engine or for any strange ecological directive?
Hahaa im with you there!

Not sure, but the inner child wishes the limit wasn't there
