Following my kerb incident my wheels are being painted next week so i do not have diamond cut issues again and they can be treated like any standard alloy in future.
The car is an A3 saloon S line in Daytona grey with the wheels shown and i am thinking maybe i should opt for an alternative colour to silver?
Any suggestions what might look good or should i stick to silver????

I did not think they were diamond cut either, that is until you get close and look at the spokes.

How much is it costing you to get them done if i may ask? I curbed mine a few weeks ago and also noticed the previous owner who had it used some harsh cleaning product on wheels and rear left hand side is developing some sort of bubbles on rim.

if you look at my first post of the photo I attached to this one ud see a very massive difference in the paintwork.
Only thing i need sorting out are my rims.

Looks like those wheels have been smart repaired in the past. If you want them properly doing they need blasting and powdercoating. Try the wheel specialist, they have branches nationwide and usually do a 15% for forum members.

Sounds like a smart repair. I would seriously advise spending an extra £30-£40 and get them properly refurbished. You'll only end up doing them again. A diamond cut face will need properly blasting and layering. Only my advice but I've done enough refurbs to know what's best.

@naughts4187 I want them looking new again as ive spent so much time on the paint work and want the car looking like a showroom finish again. Only downside for me now is the funds dont want to spend so much on it as I need to remap it do alot of work to the engine. So im looking for an affordable place not a high end refurb if you get what I mean?
