Hi, I have a two problems with my car, I have a A3 t sport 1998 and it's done 137000 miles. First problem is when it get hot it tries to cut out and sometimes does. I've changed the crank case sensor and cleaned the throttle body and it worked for about a week and now the problem is back. I've looked on a few websites and it's some people say it could be the 109 relay but I can't find it, but it has two 53 relays in it which I don't know if its correct. I have checked for problem codes with my basic vag machine and no codes come up.
The other problem I have got is one of my rear parking sensors was broke so I replaced it yesterday but still getting the long beep when I put it in reverse and they don't work. I know all the sensors are working because I can hear ticking coming from all the sensors. I have a checked for codes but my vag doesn't check for problems for the parking aid. Do I need to clear the code for them to start working.
