I've seen this from another website. Can this be done or is there a better way? I have a twin on one side at the moment and want to get a quad.

Can anyone help. Anyone have pics if they have done this from under there car. What's the advantages have a straight pipe rather than a backbox of either side?

@BrennanTDi got this done but with single exit on each side..

Have indeed bud

Stav, the difference will be in sound, if you have a back box at each side the car will not sound any different if at all. Straight pipes will give your car a bit of a rumble under load. Will try and get some pics of mine underneath over the weekend :)

Cheers mate what sound would you get?louder? Less sportier?

I suppose it depends on the system, the sound will differ on certain brands, and the more boxes you take out the louder it will be, just keep an eye on the legalities of this when it comes to MOTing your car.

With regards to looks, I went for a single pipe on each side, it's a bit less overkill and in your face. Imo quads are better suited to performance petrol cars.

Mine was dual one side before and had quads made up with back box delete, still have the centre silencer though and DPF, not gone full ****** yet :)

Is your Diesel or Petrol? Diesel with dpf egr still in but no back box is still nice and refined, just sounds a little more grumbly which is nice, not boy racer atall.. On a petrol however with no back box's it would be a different ball game and allot louder.:)
