Anyone succeed to install auto dimming mirror and auto light without changing the windscreen??

Hi guys,

I wonder if there is anyway to install light/rain sensor and auto dimming mirror without changing the windscreen.

A4/Q5 mirrors won't fit my original windscreen?

We always have to change the screen as it requires the sensor fitment & mirror fixings, no way round it.

Some newer mirrors wont be suitable no.

Sensor is integral to the screen.
