Hi all, recently purchased an 07 plate S3 so am making my way around various forums to try and learn the ropes...and hopefully contribute back, too!

Have put together a little DIY guide to replacing the timing chain & tensioner on the 8P engine, which I'll probably post up soon.

Looks great Mark and welcome aboard from a fellow newbie.

Do you mind telling me how much you paid (roughly) for your S3 and what sort of mileage it has?

Reason I ask is because it's exactly what I'm hoping to get soon"ish" to replace my supercharged 350Z.

The car was just short of £13k and had only 47,000 miles on it. I perhaps overpaid a bit due to the relatively low mileage.

Seems like a reasonable price tbh Mark considering the mileage & how good it looks in the pictures.
