Hey everyone! 8L turbo

Those rims would look better in gloss black, but then I am biased:)

Hey peeps small update...

Loving the new rims.

Did front shocks and mounts last weekened... holy crappers was that hard! Pain in the rear to do them.

And ordered nolathane lower control arm front and rear inserts... then final wheel alignment and she is right as rain for now.

a separate note, I can't believe how well the car handles... its almost arcade like... I thought that no rear seat bar and it would be not as agile... but it feels so nice. Can't wait for giant rear seat bar..

Not too bad for $30... will see if it makes a difference...

A heat shield would be advisable and a cold feed hose or two wouldn't go a miss, you will need a 80-70mm reducer or you won't be able fit the filter.

I'll be making one soon, cardboard design first.

I was going to make my own as I am a fabricator welder by trade, but I can get one on eBay for £25, so it saved me some hastle, the quality is pretty good too.

As I said before, heat shield does make a difference, especially in a warm country like yours, even better if you can get a cold feed hose in there too. If you do a search on here, someone has done a pattern for a heat shield with all the measurements.

Mounting brackets... paint... and done!

what material did you use and what tools are needed?
.5MM gal sheet was $31 from bunnings. Straight cutting snips and curved, some rivets too.
This is to fit the s2000 filter, I have enough to do another one

So managed to get all the stupid paint off the front grille and it looks much better!
