Did you ever get to Dyno the version 2 of the 2260 hybrid?
Hi bobby
I live in Slough and have a audi b7avant 3.0tdi quattro
My question is when performing a swirl flap delete do you have to disengage the flap motors?
I have had it done this year but every so often my exhaust note changes and it was traced to a swirl flap motor error but I was under the impression that the delete would have disengaged them?
Just delete them and problem solved foreverwhat are the pros and cons of swirl flap delete as i have just had a error pop up for one of the banks, already had one bank replaced by audi about 20k ago

To be honest I've removed mine and never looked back - its just a matter of time before they go wrong.
I've deleted a few now and bushes in the lower manifolds are often worn through so the shaft never runs true causing the errors.
Hi Bobby,
I currently have "throttle actuator control bank" fault code and I'm thinking its related to the inlet manifold flaps so im considering a delete but i have 2 questions if you dont mind mate.
how much should i be looking at paying a garage to do this?
also will this fault cause acceleration issues? as currently when i accelerate hard the revs go up but then keep dropping slightly then back up then drop again slightly and so on.
thanks mate
Take it from the 245hp engine. It'll will do 2.2k
Why don't you just left the hood on a 245hp engine and take a look?
I don't know bosch parts numbers top of my head I also have search.
S4 hunting hahaare you going bigger again?
Paint stripper - won't take longIt's yellow Bobby I couldn't possibly put that under the bonnet of my car. The standard compressor wheel looks lost in that huge turbo.
