I've developed a constant vibration noise at the rear of my A3 2.0t. It sounds a bit like the tyre is rubbing. (It isn't, I've checked) so I just wondered if anyone knew what it might be? It gets a bit annoying as the quicker I go, the louder it is!

anything loose in the rear arches or underneath the back that's catching passing air maybe?

Not that I can see. It's a weird one, only started happening after the cars MOT a week or so ago

It also makes a bit of a grinding noise when I corner right.....but only on a fairly tight turn

Could maybe be the doughnut coupling.

Ive checked the near side rear wheel and it seems a tiny tiny bit loose. Could it be the bearings??

Yep if you've got movement in it then your bearings will be the cause of it yes.
