Help, Safe mode Symphony II...

Long story short, got my car back from the garage after part of the cooling system shat itself. Go to turn the radio on, and all I get is SAFE showing on the radio display and the DIS.. it's 53 plate, symphony radio with a bose system in. And I don't have a radio manual. Is there any hope? And if it's fubared, can I fit an aftermarket unit onto the Bose system?!

Should remember the vin last attached too, you need the code tbh or consider an upgrade, we can supply/fit the audi rns-e sat nav system.

How much would it cost on average for RNSE? I've had a look at a few other units but budget is tight, hence the Bose compatibility worries

Yes you can add after market to Bose. 3 units I know that work with connection on rear to reroute signal.

Done a bit of hunting around, I like to think I'm right with this -
