S4/B7 which spark plugs

Hi, bit of a dumb/lazy question.

Audi have quoted me £266 for a set of 8 spark plugs, so I think I shall fit them myself.

The question is, what is the correct brand model of plug - before I take one out of the engine to check.

It is a 2005 S4 Avant with the 4.2V8.

I also went onto EuroCarParts - there is apparently a Bosch unit for almost half the price of the NGK!

I serviced mine yesterday and fitted Bosch supers and they seem fine, cost me £47 for 8 spark plugs and a oil filter lol

Not a fan of Bosch. Would always choose NGK or Denso myself. NGK are OEM.

What's the recommended interval on plug replacement? I have had a look in the service book and owners manual, but cannot find anything.

had bosch super 4,s fitted to mine for 9 years
worked really well
responds well to tuning also , so dont have to put in a hotter plug

Bosch are OEM on this engine too. I recently replaced my NGKs with the OEM Bosch plugs and it feels smoother
Make sure you get OEM spec, not just any NGK or Bosch. The Bosch OEM part number is FGR7KQE0, 4 electrode models are definitely the way to go on these engines.
