Hi guys,

I've been trying to locate the source of a noise from the drivers side for a long time. After initially thinking it was a wind noise I have come to the conclusion it is suspension related, somewhere by the driver side wheel. After some testing, I have found that the noise happens when the driver side wheel is unloaded, during hard acceleration and right hand turns. Can anyone point me to the most likely culprit? the noise is hard to describe but is like a "coo" that lasts for about a second.

Don't think so, it's not a grinding noise and does not get louder with more speed, also no play in the bearing as far as i can tell.

Sorry I can't help with the noise but from experience with my car, these bearings get noisy well before you can feel play in them
