I'm researching the RS4 V8 FSI (BNS) engine for a GT40 replica project. But I'm having trouble finding good intel on the engine management..

The Only thing I have found so far is that I would need the full wiring and both ECU's (of course) AND the key and barrel + the instrument cluster. This to be able to get passed the immobilizer.

Can the immobilizer be disengaged or bypassed somehow so that I wouldn't need the key and cluster? These parts can be hard to source with an engine so therefor the question :)

All help is appreciated! Maybe someone knows of an other project with a BNS engine with stock engine management?

Found a partial answear to my question on an other site :)

The immobiliser can be deactivated either with a "Immobiliser defeat" tool wich require the ODB connector, or by sending the ECU to a company that can do it for you. If anyone else find's this thread, it might be of use :)
