Bit of a slight issue, car has remap but runs poorly (not like a remapped car and not even a 2.0tdi in all honesty). It has a new genuine maf and re manufactured turbo.
Decided I would blank of the egr with a plate that has a hole in it and this is where it gets interesting. Engine management light is on fault codes were egr and maf. Cleared them and engine management light came back on this time just egr.
Performance wise with the blanking plate car drives like its being starved of air with no boost at all. Then at times it bursts into life and has amazing power. Then it goes back. Unfortunately Revo don't do egr delete on the blb engine.
Just wondering could I have an underlying issue with either the egr or throttle body which doesn't otherwise show up in fault codes?
