Hi Cdewar8,

For the A38P you must be careful when upgrading from halogen to HID.
Universal HID kits will damage your wiper motor due to high voltage interference with the car electronics.

What year is your Audi A3?


We produce some special HID kits without high voltage cables for A3.
This are the only HID kits safe for the wiper motor.
Our HID kits are well known for A3 owners around the world, with more than 10 Group Buys.

There is also other solutions like the installation of Xenon headlights.
This is a better option since the headlights comes with projectores, headlights are better looking & will offer a much cleaner light cut off.
