A3 8P Mirror Cover removal

Hi, Just searched the forum for a how to on this but nothing specific came up. Had a look on youtube and seems a bit vague.

Looking at the Mirrors there doesn't seem to be a slot visable to insert a blade to lift the cover up like for example on a MK4 Golf.

Want to fit S3 Covers on mine.........

Pop mirror glass out...two small screws underneath.remove the black plastic underneath then all the lugs around that you see holding on the colour coded bit to get it off.

thats if memeory serves me correct as same as my A4 i did couple years ago. I think i unscrewed motor to make easier also
