CD Remove Tools & How to Help

As the title says I'm after as much info as possible as the OE single CD player isn't playing any CDs

I'm going to remove it & not sure of the right tools to get it out what it entails and will I need to enter the radio code when re installed ?

I'm going to try and clean the cd lens using IPA & cotton swabs not sure if it's the norm but got to try
It's a 2011 a4 avant s line black edition

You can get loads more on an SD card, cant see the point of a CD player. I have a multiplayer in my glovebox and have never used it.
