Interior trim

Hello,

I would like to ask if someone has found vinyl aluminium or carbon fiber to put on the trim in the doors and the part were the gear ashtray is.. Main is a bit scratched from the last owner of my car and I would like a cheaper solution that not just replacing the TRIM with a new one.

Anyone has done it before just to try with the vynil solution?

I've tried recently, its fairly easy apart from the curved corner bits. Got more to try with but doubt I'll do a better job. May end up paying someone to do it.

The gear surround is easy as pie and looks spot on.

mine are wrapped with carbon vinyl, they arent that hard to do but the corners are a bit of a sod as mine kept lifting back up again lol

did try my door trim to cover a few scratches as the ali trims cost a fortune from audi new, could still see the scratches lightly as the wrap sat in the lines, might try a thicker wrap at some point
