A3 g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch!

Hello! =]

Need some advice from someone in the know...

My own clutch has begun slipping, and following the must do mods I've decided to fit the recommended g60 lightened flywheel and a vr6 clutch.

Upon looking I found this kit:

and wondered if it's suitable...

I fitted the LUK clutch and flywheel kit to mine 3 years and 30000 miles ago and its still going strong.

Food for thought...

Has anyone changed the springs for stiffer ones to increase pressure for better friction...?

I'm not going to be racing the car... Why do I need to spend race car money...?

They do uprated clutches as well as racing ones... for not racing clutch money... they are a clutch specialist...

Why would you uprate the clutch springs?
If you want to give it real abuse get a 4 puck or 6 puck VR6 clutch which come in options of sprung and unsprung, looking at options supporting over 450 ft lbs they also offer uprated pressure plates.

Clutch or pressure plate will rarely be the weak link here though, if you're looking a g60 flywhels then you have an 02J box.....
