Hi all, just received the following parts and looking at retrofitting Aux to my car.

1 x 8J0 035 475 (Aux-In Socket)
1 x 8E0 973 754 (4-pin Flat contact housing)
1 x 000 979 009 (Repair Wire)

I already have Aux programmed into my car and I also have the quad lock.

I have previously tried a cheap plug in cable from ebay, it worked but the sound quality was terrible so I've opted for the OEM retrofit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be interested in this also, although I myself am I little OCD when it comes to my cars so don't want to be doing any dremelling or drilling.

I'd rather buy an extra panel like this and cut that if needs be.

Anyone know?
I've tried 3 repairs wires from the aux in socket to the rear of the radio but doesn't work. Do I need to split an aux cable and use it that way?

Figured out how to do it!

First. Use the radio keys to take the radio out as so:

I did not need to use a multimeter adapter for this to work, I simply used 3 repair wires and connected them like this:

As per this diagram:

Using (1) Aux-In GND, (2) Aux-In Right, (3) Aux-In left & (4) Unused.

The numbers are on the actual plugs mate and the numbers are the same for all the quadlock types weather it be the concert stereo or the rns-e etc

The rns-e label shows all the quadlock PIN numbers mate

Ah well there you go! Might be worth making a thread for it?

what or how did you program your stereo to have an aux setting? as this is exactly what i want to do with my double din concert in my 57 plate

Any ideas on how to run the wires from rear of radio down to the handbrake so I can drill a hole and put aux socket in?
