Hey guys, got a question regarding my friends car. He's got a fairly standard AGU A3 and he's done 5 inner CVs this year alone!

The car has some sort of stage 0.5 map (about 175 bhp), and is lowered a bit on H&R springs, so by no means a low and loud power machine! . . That being said he does drive like a bit of an ASBO lol

I suppose the questions really are:
Are the earlier AGU CVs inherently weaker?
Are there any recommended aftermarket brands of CVs that may last a little longer?
Is it worth him using later AUM style drive cups and shafts?

As always all thoughts opinions and experiences appreciated... Thanks!

Prawns had all this... I assume they are the tri-lobal inners?... not the best bit of kit
