Revo PCV problem?

Ive got a Revo PCV and was wondering if they need cleaning at all.
The thing is, if i remove the oil filler cap i get smoke coming from the hole but the idle remains constant.
Could this be related to the Revo PCV?

Perfectly normal!
The idle doesn't change because you've deleted that part off the system.
Smoke or steam is normal from the oil cap, the Revo pcv doesn't require any maintenance it's a fit and forget
