If I replace oem h 11 bulbs with 100w White look bulbs would it ping up an error code?

Or would it be better if I purchased a hid kit for the fogs, but not sure whether they would melt the clusters?

Thanks guys

I ordered some from tr8ps on here, no faults or anything.

100w bulbs will melt the lights.

Someone on here had HIDs melt the lights as well.

I think the originals are 35W, I fitted 35W white bulbs and the match the HID headlights perfect.

I went for Philips diamond vision in mine pretty good match for oem xenons.

@Demo8dan - I'm assuming you have a B8 A4 with the circular fog lights?
These are OEM H11 55 watts

You want to try the ever so feeble offering on the B8.5 A4's - H8 35 watts! Pathetic!

I wouldn't exceed the manufacturers wattages as has already been said you'll melt your reflectors

Contact the site sponsor @t8ups for more info about replacement front fogs

Hi yes I have the b8 with circle fogs so I guess I could put 55w in there right?

@Demo8dan - Yup. No probs with 55w as thats what you already have in, assuming the fog light bulbs are the originals

Ice white bulbs from Trups (T8ups) are a perfect match to the DRL's
