Hi all, I currently have the double din concert stereo coupled with Bose in my 2007 a4 avant S line.
I have been offered the Audi navigation plus unit at a very good price! But it's being removed from a 2005 Audi A6.
Question is, how much of a task is it to be retro fitted to my a4?
Thanks in advance.

It's fairly easy all you have to do is take the old unit out plug the new unit in but...
Remember to swap the k-line wire in the back of the unit to pin b5 and Bose pin (brown wire) to pin b7

There should be a diagram on the back of the rns-e and a quick google search will bring up a thread about swapping the two wires around.

The fascia from a A6 is different to the A4
You can trim the sides but the top thickness isn't thick enough

Thanks for the replies, so there's no other bits I need to remove from the a6 apart from the unit itself?

I can't personally asist but @NHN is in the know with all things retrofit I believe
