So I brought my 2014 manual s3 a few months ago but recently noticed in first gear at around 5000 rpm a flat spot.took my car to audi and they told me all checks out fine on diagnostic.technician took my car out and noticed the problem but said that torque stops at around 4/5000 rpm and that normal.doesnt feel right to me,anyone got the same problem?thanks

Certainly not on mine, max torque runs to 5,500 rpm, max power at 6,500.

There's nothing on the power curves to suggest any flat spot. Take it back.

Sounds like the technician was talking out his jacksy!!

The peak torque is supposed to be around 1800-5000rpm but it certainly shouldn't drop out after 5000+ that's ridiculous!!

The power and torque graphs would quite clearly show something at those revs and it obviously doesn't.

Well this is what I was concerned about.the fact that I took it to audi and they have basically lied to me
