How rare is it for cylinder in a bam engine to go oval? My engine is dead at the mo and I'm having the cylinders checked and wondering if it's highly likely that I'll have to fork out on cylinder boring

As common as any other 1.8t block... some do, some don't... far too subjective to be able to say... only way to tell is to get it measured...
