Are the A5 windscreens metallic?

I fitted my TAG for the Severn bridge to the windscreen but when I reached the toll it didn't seem to register. Reading the instructions it says most windscreens are now metallic but have a small area that isn't. I've placed it where they say it should go. Pretty annoying.

Anyone else on here use Toll road TAGs?

My dartag works perfectly to the right of the mirror fixing, where is yours positioned.
