Feels like a grumble feeling in tight manoeuvre

hi all.
2012 A4 Q estate 79,000 m
My question is as title suggests in tight manoeuvres, generally whilst parking. There is sometimes a rumbling feeling through the car. Feels like drag through the 4wd system but it should not be active?
I searched things similar but couldn't find anything. Could it be an issue with the haldex unit or would this pop up on the management system?

It may be normal but not sure being my first.

Your car will not have a Haldex system, it will use torsen 4wd which is permanent.
From the symptoms you describe is sounds like it could be a CV joint or even a differential problem. I'd get it checked out ASAP.

I didn't think they were permanent 4wd. Doesn't seem like a CV, I guess I'll have to bob it in somewhere.

That's perfectly normal for a Torsen Quattro system. The 4WD system is full time in an A4, A5, A6 or any other longitudinal installation.
Unlike the Haldex used on Transverse engines which is predominantly FWD.
