Audi BFB engine code 1.8t - bottom end gone will a different code bottom end fit ??

I am struggling to find a 1.8t BFB bottom end for my cabriolet - will a different code bottom end fit ??

I have a cabriolet with BFB engine.

What do you mean by bottom end? Front bumper bottom end or internally around the engine bay ?

Bottom end of the engine piston has gone through side of it

Oh ok.. in which case i'll leave this open for the rest of the forum to respond as im not sure.

why not go for a 2lt motor ?? You got everything you need from your old engine to make it run

I have an ARY bottom end from a 53 TT (180hp) although it needs a crank polish and new main and big end shells, It had a holed sump but the damage is minimal, block is 06A as far as I know. Shells are £109 for both sets but maybe cheaper if bought from whoever polishes the crank, I don't think it would need reground at all.
