I can't find any information or guides on the best way to get to this switch.
Has anyone ever replaced they're own? I can't seem to get my hands in at all to even located the screw to remove the switch, its so tight!

Image below shows its location on the master cylinder, left hand side of the engine, and the switch itself its below the cylinder.

I have so far called two garages regarding fitting the switch, one said it needs to be coded in, think that could have been b******* I'm not sure? The other said the Turbo tip needs to be removed! Either way both wanted £80-90 for it!

Any help/ ideas appreciated (mines not on the pedal before anyone asks lol)

What is the actual issue you are trying to solve? I always thought that brake light switch was located under the brake pedal.

I'm trying to solve a judder issue I've had with my car since buying it.. going from neutral to first . Various threads I've read suggest to replace the gearbox mount (dogbone bush) and brake switch. I also get a surge in reverse, apparently the switch can also be at fault. For the cost of a switch £23 I'm willing to find out, but not plus the labour costs of a garage (Yet)
