Are they a straight swap?
Does it matter that it says "off road" on the packet?

Take just extra care when getting close to any kerbs or similar stone items.
My spanking new and unmarked veeman front offside had a close encounter with very well camoflauged granite curb stone last month, needless to say it left a few marks that will not polish out....a refurb on the very near horizon now..
lol, i'm not that bad.
I did get a price for a new single rim though , then decided to just live with a scuff's for now.

I have a second AFS set I might sell cheap if you're interested?
You're a man not afraid of some work for a retrofit!
All the factory plugs, sensors, brackets and control module with it too
Caught a dribble coming from under my glovebox today whilst parking up.l, so took a look at my plenum chamber. As expected it was around 2inch deep with water.
Looks like its never been done before either so popped the grommets and gave it a good old clean.
Fingers crossed that sorts the musty smell and damp passenger rear footwell issues
Keep the original drain holes clean and you won't have any problemsHas anyone ever drilled a drainage hole below their Convenience Module?
I'm considering this or possibly relocating it behind the glovebox. Madness to keep it where it is given the known water issues.
Well caught.
Are the grommets visable with the battery in place? And are you leaving them out?

Im sure they would like to sell a convenience module every now and then, so they rely on people who ignore basic maintenance.I imagine audi thought the idea through, just lack of maintenance causes issues, like most things really come the think of it
Well, been busy lately, work and other cars, had a knock develop on the A4, balljoint on drivers side, so had a new arm fitted Saturday. Vacuumed and cleaned in between the showers.
Afraid I've got some bad news, put the car up for sale late Saturday night, and sold it on Sunday, sad to se it go, 3 years and 40k, no real problems except front upright and a broken spring on rear. Great automobile.
Also got rid of one of the other cars, a classic mini, had 7 cars between us here so really had to slim it down.
Really must thank everyone who has helped me on here, very much appreciated, learnt a lot, and kept spirits up during lockdown reading everyone's input.
Unfortunately the a4 isn't getting replaced by another audi, but still German, sorry.
Couple weeks ago we bought a (2nd) mk2 golf, which will be getting the audi s3 engine that's sat in the garage, so dont feel quite so guilty.
All the best, sure I'll be popping in now and again, cheers Dave.

Finally removed the rear seats to fit the matching Black Leather rears, ended up cleaning and too dark for after photos though
Man what a pain in the butt when you've never done it before. Easy when you know how, and with two people!

Picked up a full black headlining set last weekend so was keen to get that in. Unfortunately it had begun to sag so decided to dye my grey one as upholstery is not for me! Overall I’m very happy, completely changes the feel of the car. Clean now! That's after cleaning. There were receipts from 2009 under there lol. That looks immaculate!
