Luckily I walked away unscratched. The seatbelt did cause some bruises but nothing serious. It's going to need way more than a hammer my friend.hope you are ok chap, its only a car and lives are more important.
I don't think tha'ts going to knock out with a hammer.
The fact you walked away with just a few seat belt bruises is testament to the B7's quality build quality.Luckily I walked away unscratched. The seatbelt did cause some bruises but nothing serious. It's going to need way more than a hammer my friend.

It is clear that it is unpleasant. However, remember that there is only one life.but yeah just looking at the damage we get it hurts as someone has written-off your pride and joy. and insurers being insurers it'll take a while before you get your money to get a replacement.
i already mentioned that earlier... reading the whole topic and all the replies would've refrained you from pointing to the obvious. It is clear that it is unpleasant. However, remember that there is only one life.
I understood. I didn't notice your answer. Sorryi already mentioned that earlier... reading the whole topic and all the replies would've refrained you from pointing to the obvious.
The battle with the insurance is a car crash itself!!but yeah just looking at the damage we get it hurts as someone has written-off your pride and joy. and insurers being insurers it'll take a while before you get your money to get a replacement.

mweh i didn't really bother buying an expensive one either... i just brought them back and got them replaced.. as they give you a new receipt and a full years warranty on them the 2nd replacement lasted well over 5 years before i finally had to let go of the car. So as i said they can be a hit and miss... but that's when the warranty comes in handyThey are they are really and i didn't want to throw shed loads at a new battery.
The oem batt lasted 9 years, the current fitted lion has been good for the last 8 years so I can't really complain and that age would suggest they are ok for my usage.
which mfsw is this?So just bought the MFSW with flappy pedals, got it delivered... airbag don't fit... went to check... my bad... ordered the airbag just now.... stupid of me not to triple check.. no probs airbag is ordered. Connector is the same anyways so will be a plug and play once the airbag arrives.
Only reason is i had the flappy pedals activated when I had to have the new TCM programmed...so now it flags an error on it because it finds that the flappy pedals aren't there....Ok, only asked as i have one here from my old B7 MFSW.
Replacement springs, looking around £250. Considering changing the whole set up nowThats not good Rob, can you get replacement springs or will it be complete coil over units?
