help window problem

Hi can someone please help me. The drivers window in my s3 won't go up. It goes down fine but struggles to go back up. I've took the door card off and had a look at the wee blue and green clips and they look fine they don't look broken. What else could it be? Or maybe they are broke and I'm not seen it. Also at je same time the door handle won't work. I've done a bit of research and it says it could be the wee twirly clip. Had a look at that and that also looks OK and in working order. Would love some advice it would be really appreciated

Make sure all the metal connecting rods are sitting in place properly, I had one sticking out slightly after changing the locks on my car and took me about 30 minutes of f**k a**ing around to notice it, if it's the same door for the a3/ s3 I can set you up with a whole new door frame with glass and mechanism if you give me a pm

My window regulator recently failed, the cable had run off one of the pulleys, looked like a little stone had got wedged in there somehow and forced the cable out. The frame will have to come out of the door to have a look at the cable.
