Audi corrosion warranty, any experiences?

Hi all

When washing my car today, I noticed one of my front arches is rusting on my 2007 s3. Are Audi any good at honouring their 12 year anti corrosion warranty? Eg not honouring the warranty if the car doesn't have a full audi service history etc?

You will be lucky if you can get them to do it if not serviced at audi,there is loads of threads on here use the search facility top right of the page,you will see what i mean

Erm service history doesn't play a part, only conditions really are whether the paint is original (if you ain't the original owner this may be hard to prove) and if the issue has arisen from beneath the paint, if its been chipped by a stone or something else external.

Recently claimed on this. Car was in a bodyshop for 3 months having a replacement roof skin fitted! My A4 doesnt have full service history & I didnt buy it from new either.

Paint depth measurement will tell then instantly if its ever had bodywork done in the past also.
