Diesel Remapping

I have an A3 2.0tdi quattro (140) and was considering having it remapped. Does anyone have any experience with this? How does it affect warranty and insurance for instance and also does it give the performance benefits it claims?

I am about to have mine done soon.
I have a A3 140 2.0TDI front wheel drive.
I believe it dosen't effect your warranty unless somthing goes that is related to the remap, which should be under warranty with where ever you get the remap from.
Ref to insurance it depends on companys as some will not insure mods.
Companys like privilage, Adrian Flux and Elephant will insure you at a decent price.
