Hi Guys

Im thinking of changing my disks and pads on the front and rear and was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations on what to go for? I've got a 2011 2.0TDI 170 with stock disks and pads. Any advice would be much appericated.

Thanks

Im unsure but i'd like to price both options up and i have seen people mention the Q5 calipers with 320mm disks but I'm struggling to find them.

If going q5 you can get 345mm ones and use s4 discs
I got the Q5 345 brembos from stoke Audi for 630 delivered iirc

320mm Brembo calipers are 8R0615107 and 8R0615108. If you want the 345mm versions then just put an A on the end of the 2 codes.

Pity you didn't see this that I posted a while ago.

set of 320mm Brembo 4 pot calipers almost new with pads and low mileage genuine discs. Went for £185 in the end.

I have just bought a set of the 345mm q5 Brembo brakes for my car. Just sprayed them black today.
Rang Stafford Audi and they wanted £428 for one . Used the parts request on here and Mike sorted me a pair brand new delivered for £528 delivered to me . Very impressed, second time I have used him and the parts prices just can't be beaten.
The latest parts suffix for the 345mm calipers is G, this supercedes all previous part numbers so
8R0615107G and 8R0615108G

Thanks for the information. I would definitely be interested in the 345mm disk and caliper setup.

Is that just a straight forward bolt on to the a4 b8 or is there any alterations the need doing?

I've currently got 18" rotas on my car so would there be enough room for the 345mm disks and calipers?

Also you mentioned you bought a set of brembo q5 disks . Could you tell me where from and do you have a link?

Thanks.

These Q5 345mm calipers fit under 17 inch rims. They are a straight forward bolt on. I have some OE 17 inch wheels on the car at the moment with winter tyres on and the calipers fit. It's close only a few mm gap here and there but 18 inch rims shouldn't be an issue. The main thing is these calipers stick out a lot more than the standard caliper so the gap between the caliper face and the spokes on the wheel is a lot smaller. Wheel with a lower offset are better as they shouldn't have any issues at all.
You can use any B8 A4 345mm disc they are the same as the Q5. So from £70 a pair from carparts4less for standard Pagid discs to something a little better.
I have decided to push the boat out a bit and have ordered some of the ECS 2 part discs.
