When She Got Out Of The Car ,
She Told Pump Attendant She Wanted £50 VPower Diesel ,
She Then Went inside ,
As the Guy Has Filled the Car For her Numerous Times
She Paid for the fuel and left ,
Drove to Butchers Next Door to Petrol Station ,
When Coming Out Of Shop
The Car WONT START
(
Luckily She Paid On Card So had RECEIPT
Turns out Guy Put VPower PETROL into Our V6 TDI !!!!
Shell Call- Out Fuel Removal Company
Who Turn-Up ,
Remove All fuel He Can FROM FILLER NECK ,
He Then Proceeds To Spray EASYSTART into Air-intake
Before Then After Air Filter
Whilst Asking Me TO Crank Over The Car ,
(To PUMP FUEL FROM PASSENGER SIDE TO DRIVERS SIDE He Said !!)
Still Wont Start He flattens battery whilst Trying
He then Proceeds To Remove Back Seat
Uses a Hammer and ScrewDriver to
Remove Fuel Sender Unit From N/S Of Fuel Tank Under Rear Seat and Removes Remaining Petrol From There ,
Then Hammers Sender Back in to place
He Then Attaches Booster Pack To Battery And Proceeds To Spray Lots Of Easy Start Into Air Intake Again , it took an absolute Age for it to finally Start(
Whilst He Was Saying " They Have Usually Started By Now "
When It Did Start It Was Banging And Coughing, Smoke Billowing From The Twin Exhausts
Went Back To Shell
Who MADE Me Pay For The Replacement Fuel I Had To Put In(
As Fuel Removal Lad Wanted New Fuel In Before He Would Leave
Got There Insurance Details As I Want My Car Checking Over
Finally i Got a HireCar As My Car IS Stinking Of Fuel !!
its Now Starting Really Rough Knocking And Banging SOUNDING rough
WHAT DAMAGE IS LIKELY HAVE BEEN CAUSED TO MY V6 TDI ?
its currently In With Audi looking at least at
£1100 , repairs inc 6Hrs Labour
fuel pump and fuel filter
Tank Drain And Inspection
But Ive Only Just Realised After Reading a Little On Here
THAT EASY START SHOULD NOT BE USED ON AN ENGINE WITH HEATER PLUGS !!
Which Ive Not Told AUDI ABOUT AS FORGOT ABOUT UNTIL READING ON HERE !
