Pro4 manifold cracked.... Options?

Hi guys, my pro4 manifold has cracked and in order to get a replacement i need to have it removed, take pictures of the damage, and then send to the person who supplied it in order for a replacement to be authorised.
I know it comes with a lifetime guarantee, but that doesn't help with the huge labour bill im going to be left with.
Shouldn't there be some compensation for something that's lasted 3000 miles?
I realise people said they were ****, and all that, but there's no other option for hybrid power, but i don't want to fit a replacement, for that to crack in a few months??
