Hi,
Either today or tomorrow I am due to order a Revo CAI for my S3. After reading the thread who the Revo is causing problems this is a concern. My car is running at APR 1+ and when I checked with Awesome last week they said my car would not need an adjustment as the map already includes CAI ability. Reading the Revo information, it appears the intake is scaled correctly and so I cannot understand why it is not performing properly in the other thread unless the MAF has been damaged or air leaks etc.
So folks with perfectly running Revo intakes, please can you let us know and also do you have any fitting tips in order to ensure success?
Did you disconnect the battery for make the ecu relearn settings? I checked with Awesome that this would not make the map default to the basic settings?
All thoughts welcome!
Peter
