White smoke cut of please help

Hi all

Today my car cut of with a loud bang and loads of white smoke at the rear . I have towed it home . The belt seems fine not slack at all . I thought it may be the battery as it came up with voltage low . It seemed to start but cut of again with loads of smoke

I have scanned it on the vagcom it does not come with anything out of the ordinary . It did scan a esp fault but I cleared it and nothing .

Any ideas guys it would be appreciated

OK...loud bang,white smoke = turbo oil seal failure usually.

Do not try to run it again,get it to a good garage and get them to look at it.

Depends on how much oil the car has ingested,how much damage has been caused,whether or not the turbo has actually failed or just oil seals.....etc etc
