Back speakers don't work!

Hi I have a A3 2009 1.9tdi sport. I'm guessing the back speakers are an upgrade option when the cars bought right? Mine are there but don't work? Any idea how much and what parts I need to get them to work?
I live in the Manchester area

We've been there before. So have you actually taken the rear door cards off and had a look if speakers are there, having the speaker grills does not mean you have speakers fitted.

Hi no I havnt took the door panel off but would like the upgrade and the speakers fitted as the sound is quite low with the upgraded rnse fitted into it. What would be the best bet of buying the speakers and fitting rough price range? Cheapest?
