17 avus S3 Tyre Pressure?? 18 rs4 lower it yes or no???

hi all i just picked up my s3 yesterday and i need some advice on what tyre pressure to put in , ive got the standerd 17 avus alloys just need to know what presure to put

also i want to upgrade to 18 rs4 but im wondering if im going to need to lower it as i dont really want to lose the drive of the car (had my last car lowerd and i hated the bumps u felt everything on the road). anyone got any pics?

Tyre pressures should be on a sticker on the inside of the petrol filler flap.

It will look ok on standard but better lowered

im picking up a set of s3 alloys tomorrow, what pressures should i use? i have a 1.8t sport so no sticker for me for 17s.

I run mine at 33 PSI front and rear which is higher than Audi recommend on the sticker (1 up driving). I did run them at the recomended pressures but the tyres wore at the edges but not in the centres. I'll check the sticker and post the figures next time I'm on here.

cheers johns3, i had a look at http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?t=19779&highlight=pressures from the faq, but thats for 225/40/18 in which 34F/38R were recommended.

as im running 225/45/17, im currently at 32F/36R, too high/low?
