Help please

I could hear something moving behind my glove box and being my glovebox has broken I thought it was a cd changer but turns out its the thing with the red arm keeps readjusting itself? Anyone tell me what it is?

Heater flap control arm.

yep as above its one of the motor's/arms that controls the heater.

Any ideas why it's moving/ adjusting itself when the ignition is off?

Literally just slight adjustments. But you can hear it while in the car and the heaters are off?
