We have AP Coilovers fitted to our A4 Avant and want to lower the rear a little more, they are wound down as far as they go but I believe you can remove the adjuster which will lower by a further circa 8mm

Does anyone know how to do this? Is it something I could do as a basic DIY type job or are specialist tools needed?

TIA

Are you on about removing the adjuster rings or base it sits on, are you remove the base you'll have to put the rubber back in for the spring to locate, there are two ways of taking the springs out, undo the shockers at the bottom 21mm if I remember and drop the subframe, or undo the camber bolts (make sure you mark them if your doing it this way
Hope this helps,
I have Eibach springs on mine and it's not low enough on the rear so at some point this week I'm going to shave the top mount down 10mm to make it level with the fronts
