Transferring heated seat element???

Is it possible to transfer the heated seat elements between seats? How easy is it? Anyone actually done it?

Well you'd think so but I've said that about things before and come up a cropper.

From previous threads I read about installing heated seats the hardest (most expensive) bit was potentially having to get the seats recovered

Takes a lot of labour time to strip down the seat, consider following the eminstructions to ensure you don't miss anything.

I've done it before on all 4 seats and the rears were obviously easier.
