9x18s?

Ive curbed one of my wheels slightly and i was thinking about getting 2 9x18s for the rear instead of the 8x18s. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? Also can i get 225/40/18 tyres on those rims?

you may need to get the rear arches pulled. I have 8" at the rear in both 17s and 19s and there is a bit of room left.

Yea ive got 8" now with 5mm spacers and still a bit of room. Id like a deeper dish so was thinking of going wider. Whats invloved in getting your arches pulled?

Its just a roller which bolts to the hub. They then heat up the arch and roll the roller which streches your arch.

Is there a visual difference or is it all on the inside of the arch?

Sometime can see the arch is a little further out, but i am sure only you would notice it.

Runing merc rims, you can run 225/40/18 if you don't like the stretch look.
