Water leak back of the engine!!

Hi,
I have a 52 plate 3l v6, it has a water leak from the back of the engine. I can see that its coming from a hose onto a metal block from underneath the car, but not from above and I certainly cant get my hand to it from either. Any suggestions as to what it is and more importantly how easy is it to repair? and how do I repair it?

I've done a little research and I think its the "heater coolant shut-off valve -N279" that's leaking.
I still need information on how to remove it as I cant see anyway to get to it.
